Owner/Operator

My name is MJ Macias and I am President of Acer Landscape Management. I love the landscape industry and using my horticulture knowledge to help clients improve and enjoy their landscapes. My attention to detail and love of interacting with clients helps create positive relationships with those we work with. I am from San Jose California and  that is where I learned to love the outdoors. I studied Horticulture at Brigham Young University and graduated in 2004. I have worked with large corporate accounts to the smaller HOA Communities. This experience has led me to start Acer Landscape Management. Acer is a lifelong goal I have had, to start a company where we help people truly manage one of the biggest assets on their properties. During this process I have also found a love of interacting with the field labor. There is nothing better than getting to know our team members and their families and seeing them succeed.

Controller

My name is Lisa Macias. I am one of the owners of Acer Landscape Management. My background differs from our other management staff a little bit. I grew up in Washington state and both sets of grandparents were farmers. So I come from a line of hard workers that appreciate the importance of growing your own food and appreciating the earth for what we can get from it and also taking care of it. I graduated from BYU with a BA degree in Math Education. I taught JR High for a few years and then became a stay at home mom for 12 years. When MJ and I decided to start this company I became the office manager. I had a steep learning curve since math education doesn’t quite translate to accounting. Thankfully, we have hired Annette to take over that part of my responsibilities and I am back to being a stay at home mom and just filling in when needed at the company. When I have down time I love to read and also enjoy being outside with my family, especially camping near the beach in California.

Enhancement Manager

My name is Cris Munson and I am the Enhancement Manager at Acer Landscape Management. I come from a Nursery background. As I was working at a Nursery for the previous 9 years I found that if you provide a positive and  encouraging work environment you will create a place where employees feel empowered to suggest better processes that will further the company as well as themselves. An engaged employee will give you the extra 20% that they were holding back. I thoroughly enjoy watching employees grow and gain the success they deserve in their professional and personal lives. When I am not working I love being outdoors with friends and family camping, fishing, hunting, etc.

Account Management

My name is Erika Davies and I am the Account Manager for Acer Landscape Management. As I was studying at BYU I worked at the baseball and softball fields; here I learned about the power of teamwork, problem solving and organization to complete projects. I enjoy organizing and planning what is coming, working with the field to accomplish tasks and seeing the end results of a job well done. My goal is to help facilitate my coworkers with the best information I can get so that they can succeed at their jobs.

Irrigation Manager

My name is Spencer Davies and I am the irrigation manager for Acer Landscape Management. I am from Springville, Utah and currently live in Spanish Fork.  I graduated from BYU with a Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Management. While in school, I worked for BYU Grounds on the baseball/softball crew, where I grew to love the landscaping profession. I changed my focus to irrigation and I love it, but I am most passionate about teaching. Landscaping has helped me in so many ways and I want to pass on what I have learned to others. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, baking, cooking and watching sports, sometimes all at the same time.
